The lite version permits the relocation of up to five applications to the SD card.

Force2SD aims to optimize application storage by enabling the transfer of most apps to the SD card or external storage, circumventing system restrictions. While Android introduced the ability to move apps to external storage in version 2.2, it typically only allows the movement of apps explicitly marked by developers as transferable. Force2SD surpasses this limitation by facilitating the relocation of numerous applications not originally designated as movable.

In addition to moving applications, users can also revert the process, organize apps alphabetically or by APK size. By default (adjustable settings available), Force2SD scans for orphan app files on the SD card upon initiation. This feature remains functional, despite compatibility issues with Lollipop. This scan helps identify and potentially resolve remnant app files left on the SD card after uninstallation, which may contribute to system inefficiencies.

Note 1: Applications transferred to external storage will not receive a boot signal upon device startup. It is advisable not to relocate apps that require boot-time operations. However, users can always revert these changes if necessary.

Moreover, Force2SD allows users to prevent applications from starting up automatically at boot by moving them using the application.

Note 2: Following a reboot, there may be a delay (up to a few minutes) before the operating system displays icons of recently relocated apps. Such behavior is normal for the OS's apps-on-SD functionality.

Note 3: Certain protected apps may not be transferable using Force2SD.
